when the 20th group gets called up and sent abroad, for whatever reason (like training for FID)...they are still GBs doing their mission, whether in direct combat or otherwise as the SOCOM directs them.

I know that. I figured he was Guard, as evidenced by my reply to his bet offer. I have not maligned the NG or the NG SF.
I am just not impressed with TAK on any level. His tone and style of discourse screamed that he didn't have a CIB and wasn't in combat as SF. I asked a bunch of questions that were avoided for a long time, but, eventually was proven correct.
