Perhaps before you degrade someone, you should do some research first.

I bet he (your friend) isn't on an internet forum telling everyone about his service time and being vague on specifics either.
Jorge is likely to say exactly what I guessed many pages back, and now, after asking many, many times, TAK actually confirmed: he was guard while SF.
I don't know about anyone else, but my issue is simply that he has been quick to throw out specifics like "I got a 99 on my jump test HOOOOAH" but refused to answer/ignored a simple question of whether or not he was guard/reserve/active duty.
Your friend sounds like the spec-ops people I have known.
Dudes who are really badass don't need to tell you about it, and they usually don't. TAK goes waaaaaay out of his way to interject his service into any and every conversation.
