I am pretty amused by those who pick the 280 over the 270 because of the "large selection" of bullet weights. For big game hunting, I have found 130's best in the 270 and 140's in the 280. I'll wager fewer than 2% use 160's or 175's in their standard 280's. 150's work pretty well in both bores.
