In support of Pat, here's my story:

I shot a boar at Wilderness that probably ran about 250. It was with another boar that was slightly smaller. They were lying down together(I figure they were Democrats) and I shot the larger one.

There was virtually no odor from my boar, either in the field, or after it was skinned and dressed in the locker plant.

As it turned out, there was another hunter there who was looking for more meat for the homeless, and I gave him my boar. He was glad to get it.

There is an old hunter's axiom. "If it smells good, it tastes good."
