Even though I didn't shoot a deer with it this weekend, I just enjoyed being back in the woods with it and thinking back to the big grin my dearly departed Dad had on his face as I unwrapped it on Christmas morning 34 years ago.

Made some meat with the old .243 this evening. Very fat doe at about 170 yards with some 20+ year old PMC factory loads. I'm not going to wait 15 years again to shoot another with it...
