Absolutely sir, though please understand their only this Canuck's views on how to slick them up a wee bit.

I've had a soft spot in my heart for lever guns ever since my late father came home with a straight grip 99 when I was maybe 6 or 7.

There's been a few come and go over the years, but the 94 has stayed the longest, mainly because as a '77 it's not worth much and then too because I seem to be able to hit stuff with it when I need to.

The jury is still out on the Marlin for me - the 2nd one I've owned - so we'll see how long it stays in the safe.
