When I was a kid I read about the mountain men, scouts, trappers,
Davy Crockett, Dan'l Boone, and later Zane Grey's border trilogy.
Back then I was too poor to pay attention and had hand-me-down.

As an adult I never got into percussion or flint-lock pieces.


Here lately, the thought of playing with such has been beginning to grow on me.
