The thumb, able to oppose any of the fingers. The pinky, just the right size to clean out your ear. The index finger, just the right size to pick your nose. And two more fingers - one for getting married, and one for getting divorced.
Without which we would have never shot a gun or flown to the moon, or eaten bowl of peach ice cream.
