My 88 year old neighbor died in 2000, but in 1985 he built a couple barns for me, using his 36" saw mill. He told the story of killing 200 dogs over the years that got into his trapline. He would try to set them free, but if they growled, they died.
He was an idiot then. I ran a trapline for years and released many dogs. Never had to shoot one.
