I don't see much biblical nor historical indication that God judges nations "for their sins" in this current dispensation. Could be, but if so, I am not able to see it.
I agree. I don’t see that there is any New Testament indication that He threatens His judgement as a consequence for national sins nowadays.
Consequences of bad national decisions and bad national behavior are quite different than God’s judgement, such as Sodom and Gomorrah, or the flood.
