Where in the New Testament is judgement threatened as a consequence for national sins...?
”O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate." Matthew 23:37-38
I see a lamentation. But not a threat.
It's a national consequence for rejecting Christ.
Check out what happened shortly after Jesus said that. About 70 AD Edit: I looked back and now see that others brought up the little 70AD sack of Jerusalem.
