True indeed. Not only by birth but also by choice of course. Some of these folks act like God is to blame. He's their only Solution.

In genesis, God cursed the world because of the decision of a naive couple to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
The world at large was punished for the actions of Adam and Eve.
Within the context of this theology, the decisions we make are the result of living in a world cursed by God, our genetic disposition, environment, culture, etc.
