Mark invests himself in his dealings and MAKES friends, and therefore deserves the benefit of the doubt whenever anything like this comes up. He does a good job. The lawyer on the other hand is just a cheapo pot-shot sniper that thinks his wit and "superior" intellect will carry him when his character fails him.
