I don't think homosexuals should be a church leader just like I wouldn't want a Christian who might occasionally get drunk as a leader, I;m not sure however that one sin is worse than the other as long as they both want to be free,and I don't think the church needs to turn their backs on them.
I do not however agree with all the world council of churches BS.
Furthermore, the institution of marriage is a biblical institution and Governments have no business sticking it's collective nose in it, no popular vote or trendy ideal should be allowed to impact same, for as it is biblical it is solely in the domain of biblical organisation.
Any that sign up for marriage needs understand what it is, and if they do not agree then they and their ilk can piss off and indulge in some other pact.
Note that I do not refer to 'churches' as I believe they and their grubby politics are a large part of the problem, which is what you get in business.
Right or wrong these are my opinions.
