south of town is gorgeous headed up toward mirror lake. but it looks like no land is for sale, and everyone says its very very cold in the winter there.
I really don't know of anywhere in WY that is not cold in the winter, some are just colder & windier than others.
Other than that, it's a great state that will remain relatively free & conservative for a while yet, I think.
