So he should have acted like Chicken Little and incited panic? Shut even more of the country down? Make Level A suits mandatory? Exactly what was mismanaged? Were we flattening the curve or are we supposed to completely avoid going in public until the virus is gone?
Like I’ve mentioned before, do masks “work”? It depends on what the definition of “work” is. It may be stopping virion attached to aerosols, but are all virion attached to aerosols? Aren’t a significant portion free of aerosols? If so, what effect is any mask that can’t filter particles smaller 0.125 microns having on them?
I ask all of that to say this: I think its safe to assume that unless I’m living in a HEPA-filtered bubble, I’m going to be exposed at one point and/or another. When I’m exposed, I’ll either become infected or I won’t. If I become infected, I’ll either recover or die. Knowing this to be true, do I feel cheated that the president didn’t incite a panic?
