I like to think so. I bought it CHEAP, a Wal-Mart clearance in Pensacola back in 08. I paid 250 box for it, so I bought three, this one, a 257 (similarly rigged) and I gave the 270 to my FIL. He loves his. I put a Timney on it as well and a Leupold VX3 2.5X8X36.
