The Springfield still has the original barrel,which has "8-38" on it. With 220 gr Hornadys and RL-19 it shoots dang good. Don't know who did the stock work,but,the way it's shooting they knew what they were doing.


My other Pre '64 M 70 is a .300 H&H with a B&C stock. A 6x Leupold.

So far I've shot 180,200,220 gr NP's and it likes them all. Going to use the 200 gr NP Round Nose as I found 5 boxes of them for $20 each.
