Who's standard? Who's we and why do they use it as a benchmark? All silly.
I'm not against the 30/06. Ofcourse it works and just because it's popular doesn't mean it's a benchmark.
We have a very large Amish community here where I live. They basically do things as they was done many years ago. Guess what they still work today too. I'll also add it's much faster and easier for me to get my hay up.
