There is a reason people pass down 30'06's from generation to generation. Because nobody ever shoots them so they last forever. Sit down and shoot 50 rounds in a day and talk to me about your shoulder.
Along with the "kills your shoulder", and "lobbing dog turds for bullets, This is all you've got to backup the "Anyone who actually shoots more than half a box a year knows why the 30-06 sucks." Surely you can do better than that.
