Has anybody figured out good bullet weight and load for reducing recoil or are we still comparing dick sizes?
Glad to Be back to original topic. In my original post. I like the load I made for my kid 140 SST at 2800 was accurate and very mild recoil after shooting same round at close to 3100 FPS.. To get the latest rage 6.5 CM shooting 140s at 2800 is near its max.
Wonder which has less recoil?
Same weight bullet at same velocity says recoil should be the same but I suspect bearing surface, if there is a difference, could change that.
I don’t know. But after shooting full house 270 and the reduced load I made, recoil felt very comfortable and not much it can’t take down.
All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.
