Are you talking about the so-called "Scandinavian grind"? Definitely NOT "easy to sharpen", as is so often touted. And a fad I had hoped would have passed by now, yet it hangs on amongst "bushcrafters". :P

Not sure if it's the same. I do know that the zero bevel grind is popular in Europe.
