People are mostly free to come and go as they please.
If you find a particular participant's behavior distasteful, put that person on "ignore" and they will no longer exist for you.
Just like an actual campfire, you can get up and leave at any time and if the behavior of the people at that campfire irritates you, you can find a new campfire that is more agreeable to you.
