Haven't heard one since.
Guess they don't much care for snow/wind/cold grin

Places "Out West" we sometimes find the turkeys following the snow line up the mountains. Does that work on you hills back there?

This time of year and our latitude any snow is usually gone within 1-2 days.
Saturday: sideways snow with temps that dropped throughout the day leveling out at 10 or so by early Sunday AM.
Sunday: sunny, high of 45
Monday: sunny, high of 65
No trace of snow left anywhere.

Can get like that at our elevation, 4000' +/-, but there are places much higher and the turkeys will follow the snowline up the hill (an back down if we get another storm" . Reminds me, I better check the F&G website, see when turkey starts up this way this year. Won't be until April at the earliest as I recall.

We're @ 2200 +/- elevation.
