Was raised by a strict god fearing mother. No swearing, not a whole lot of carrying on or fun.
Worked farming, logging, construction, mechanic, truck driver, factory.
Learned some language!😁 Got too skilled, IMHO. Learned to have fun, and how men act without women and kids around.
Women and kids make us better. X100!
But Boys need time to be Boys, and play. We are also better for the times we can be a little less civilized and a bit more "unrefined".
Women should rarely intrude on Mens Territory. We don't want them there. In real life, we will behave. Maybe enjoy a visit, even if it's interfering with what's going on.
OP. Don't delude yourself. The "Ladies" you know might shock you if you overheard them when they were alone.
My dear Mother attended beauty school in her 30s, after dad died. She has often mentioned the language of the women there.
"Those girls talked worse than any of the loggers or truck drivers I was ever around at The Luke Paper Mill with your Dad. Men came in there from 4 or 5 states, rough men. And i almost never heard a curse word."
