That’s a heavy load B, particularly at that time of life. I missed most of 3rd grade because of what they thought was a leukemia of sorts, but in 1958, they weren’t always so precise in their diagnosis, or prognosis. I knew it was something big but was otherwise clueless. But, but my parents were pretty down about it I learned later.

There’s a pastor who pretty much summed up life on this globe when he said “I see two groups of people here this morning. There are those who’ve been hit with some personal, economic, relational, or health crisis, and then there are those who just haven’t had theirs yet.”

If there is an upside, it is perspective, and that God is sovereign.
