It was, but I got into this profession believing it was my calling. As such I know I've come through this sch!tshow in much better mental/emotional shape than those who think it's just a job.
It was an enormous betrayal.
I appreciate your respect, and respectfully ask you to save your sympathy for the ones who died, their families, and the ones who are still struggling with "long Covid".
