Given the Fire propensity to designate the .270 as "gay", seems to me 3,375 fps is quite manly, regardless of bore diameter...

DF that seems a lot of speed with anything, to me.
The "gay" thing is amusing, since the 270 kills more BG animals ,annually, than many CF pets combined.
It's easy to argue "numbers". Anyone can do that.
......but pretty tough to argue with animal carcasses.
