Nope not created by gophers. Come visit I'll show you with your own eyes and you can read the science to it. The signs are in English though some are barely English. This whole hill was pushed up by them and is continuing to be. The water doesn't surface everywhere. Only where you see the white sandy looking portions that I have in the pictures. This hill is roughly 350 meters long 500 meters high at the highest point where the small church with the cruafix is. The sign did not give the width.
