We hunt out of a camp, and critters are not field dressed, but brought back to camp and skinned. We called this one "Scraps" as he would come out whenever critters were being skinned. I always tossed him some small meat scraps. Sometimes of an eve I'd be sitting in a chair enjoying a beverage and a stogie, he'd stride right up and watch. He hung around camp for two or three seasons IIRC. Just one of the serendipities of being afield.
