The President's Match, getting ready to shoot Sitting on Viale Range. This is looking towards the low end, that has the supposed advantage of the trees blocking wind.

It was a little windy anyway, with winds running from 5mph in the morning to gusts of 25mph in the afternoon for the P-100.

After the match, people head over to this shed on Rodriguez Range to see if scores are posted and find out what the cuts are for the top 100 and the top 20.

The top 20 shoot-off is a spectator event, so they put up these targets (SR-3s) and put bright pasters on them to mark the shots. The shoot-off is 10 more shots Prone @ 600 yards.

Just to get some idea how competitive the sport is, here's Nick Till (in blue) scoring. He did NOT make the Top-20. In my opinion, he's one of the top 5 or 10 shooters in the country. Great human being, I was sorry he didn't make it.
