Some members take seriously the church's encouragement to be honest, provide for our families, respectful to others, and to look for ways to help our neighbors. Others, not so much.
Denton here provides a good explanation of the positive side of the organization - I think he is accurate - and it mirrors my experieince with many individual LDS folks. It is not the only side.
