The Mormon church is reported to be the most wealthy religious organization in the world unless you combine a number of individual Catholic organizations into one. They're said to have in the area of $50 billion. Yet they have an unpaid clergy. Their top leaders, known as the general authority, receive no 'pay' but it's come out that they do receive a 6 figure 'living allowance'.
