I called this one "scraps".

At our lease, as its an operating cattle ranch, we do not field dress. Rather we bring the animals back to camp, then skin/gut, etc then carry the offal to the bone yard. For a couple years "Scraps" hung around the camp. If you moved slow and were not aggressive in your behavior, he/she would come within a couple feet. When skinning, if he came around I always made sure he had some scraps.
