I'm getting the feeling that the dog is ready to jump in the water to drag the kids to safety!

A friend back in Canada had a Newfoundland retriever that would sometimes decide a given adult or kid was too far from shore or perhaps looked like a weak swimmer - and he'd go and drag them in!

I think the dog weighed about 160 lbs, so if he decided to bring you back to shore, that is what would happen!
