I've punctured several capes just in front of the hinds and and around the anus where the skin gets thin, and up high on the neck. I like a reasonably sharp blade with a semi-skinner profile

I see what you're getting at, but puncturing capes isn't a huge deal, with reason. A duller knife could prevent some of that, but then you'd be dealing with...a dull knife.

You sure do have some nice knives....but I'd of lost half of them.
