I may have mentioned previously that we have way too many hoglets.
So in addition to sniping them, we snare and trap.
This guy was in one of the box traps.
He was not a happy camper when my buddy rolled up.
He charged the cage door at the corner and somehow got his head caught. The wire was hooked behind his ear and he went bat-[bleep] crazy. So we shot him in the head three times with 230 gr. hardball to get his attention, and slow him down a skosh. The vid below is after he'd taken three to the head.
I hit him a couple times more and he went limp.
Had to turn the trap over to use his body weight to get him loose.
In all the commotion he rubbed himself a bit raw!
I figure he did me a favor as it made it much easier to cut his head off!
