That particular item is the carbon fiber Bog "Death Grip" Tripod.

One can purchase it in either Aluminum or carbon fiber as a complete unit.

Anywho, Google is your friend.

I have my thermal and Night vision mounted on AR's.

As you probably are aware, AR's tend to be heavy and do not balance like a single shot or bolt action rifle.

I've tried shooting stix and other methods of support, but the slightest bump and they slip, slide or fall away.

I chose the mid-range Bog product.

I have availed myself of both night vision and thermal optics for perforating hoglets at night. The "Death Grip" tripod will be part of system for sitting out for extended periods at night as well as for calling varmints.

The optic in the picture is the ATN X-Sight II HD 3-14 Night Vision Scope. One can look up the specs or view on Youtube.

Used with an IR illuminator it works well for identifying critters at night at the distances I shoot, usually 100 yds and under However it is a "battery hog" and does not stream video.

I'll probably pick up the ATN 4k Pro 5-20 soon as it has some refinements, an 18 hour battery life and one can stream video to an i-phone or I-pad. That will be a real bonus as keeping one's eye glued to the scope is tiresome not to mention night blindness induced by the bright light. With the use of the Death Grip, I should be able to stay on target for extended periods and use my thermal optic for scanning.

Here is a hoglet I nailed with the rifle pictured above.

The rifle is an Armalite AR-10, chambered for 308 Win. In this pix the IR Illuminator is attached. The distance was +/- 120 yds.

ya!

PS: It can also be used during the day
