I've seen literally thousand of 'dillos, and quite a few Cara cara's over the years,

but I'd never seen this relationship.

That afternoon I saw two different pair of Cara cara's following closely behind different 'Dillos At first I thought that the 'Dillo's might be prey, but they were not.

The birds would stay within a couple feet of the Dillos, but I did not see them snatching any morsels that the 'Dillos may have uncovered.

Will have to study on this.
