Was replacing the rat bait in the bait stations around the house today and look what I found in the one near the front door:

After my heart rate returned to normal I grabbed a shovel and carefully opened it back up. Sure was glad to see a pointy tail instead of rattles

I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all.
