Yep, that works too and a great suggestion for a guy that only has one front rest. But I have other front rests that work better. How's the weather been from you guys? I'm in Nevada right now and there is a lot of snow. A lot of blowing and drifting snow, so no good for shooting.
I regretting posting that having read where you have multiple bags. Sorry. Lately the weather has been warm, to warm for Dec. Yesterday it was in the high 60's and will be the rest of this week with lots of rain. I should have gotten out and shot some more of your targets, but instead was working up a load for the 223. Snow would be nice, not blowing snow though. I love to Coyote hunt and snow helps.
