Hunted Hall's Bayou Ranch in Santa Fe Texas, this morning's opener with my oldest son, my grandson, and one of his friends and son.



Set out about 40 decoys and three spinners.



Once the sun came up, it got hot quick, no breeze and few clouds. Where we sat was facing directly into the sun, but at least the birds were mostly coming toward us rather than from behind.



Birds were flying high. Action stopped about 8 AM. We got 10, but should have got quite a few more.

All were Blue Wing Teal
