I shot a stray cat with a 45 ACP and got an instant kill. I shot a big pregnant barn cat with a +P 38 Remington Golden Sabre 125 gr. Hollow Point which crawled under a hay bale and died. The moral of this story is that I need to shoot 198 more cats before I can make any assumptions about handgun effectiveness on cats. (statistically valid assumptions) whelennnut
