No doubt the Jewish Mafia has always dwarfed the Cosa Nostra. Mafia and Cosa Nostra aren't the same things, however, even if the Cosa Nostra is an example of the Mafia. While Mafia literally only refers to the Italian Mafia, it has come to be slang for organized crime, regardless of ethnicity. The Cosa Nostra, however, still refers exclusively to the Italian Mafia.


How do account for the fact that many of these Jews were members of these Italian families.
