I'm calling them, they are focused in my direction and reaching up to dial elevation or parallax it is a good way to spook a coyote. I so rarely get a shot at a coyote over 500 that it isn't worth the money and effort to set up a rifle for those, coyotes at 10 yrds are far more common.


And in that situation, a shotgun works best.. I thought the op was asking about a bear hunt?
