I have a .338 RUM that I have considered re-chambering to a .338 edge. The .338 RUM is just fine, and re-chambering it won't really make a difference, I just want to do it.

It always made me mad that the .338 is shorter than the .300 and .375 ultra mags. I heard that .338 was going to be the same length but at the last moment they discovered that with on of the bullets on the market if you loaded it with the canular to the neck you would get higher than wanted pressures.
