The biggest issue is mag length. An Edge length .338 in a 3.600" mag box seats some of the heavier high BC bullets so deep that the ogive is deeper than the mouth of the case. The slightly shorter RUM case can still get a grip on these bullets. My first Edge was shot as a single-shot because of this. My second has a 3.850"ish Wyatt box and the bullets sit properly in the necks, appropriately to the lands and still work in the magazine. Leaving out that I'm not overly thrilled by the Wyatt center feed system it works out. The .338 RUM case is a better design in this regard.
