renegae50: Yes. One needs to find some reason to rip or plow deeper. Great country for finds back there with I think a more extended and continuous history. Used to be a resident of Tenn, Va, and WVa and my brother has all of my treasures from back there. Ice ages, Pleistocene floods, and subsequent conversions to near desert, make things a bit spotty out here. Where all the resources do come together though, there are some good places to look.
