They were likely the only arrowheads that were actually arrowheads. All of the larger points were probably fitted to lances, atlatls, or hafted as knives. So I guess, men, deer, elk, buffalo, turkeys or whatever they hunted with the bow.
All theory of course since none of us were there and they did write anything down.
