It's interesting to see the different shapes and sizes of the stones. The one that my grandfather found seems to be a quartz. It is extremely dense. Upper and lower sides of his stone are slightly concave, the edges convex. I can only imagine the time that it took to shape one of these. It seems that they were held in such high esteem that they were passed down through the generations. There is no such stone to be found in my are of the country.
